Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What time frame can I expect for completing my swimming pool project?

Most pool projects average 30-45 working days after start of excavation, longer for larger projects.

The project size, complexity, weather, and the time of year the project is initiated are the key variables for your time frame. Projects designed and planned during late fall/winter are the first to be completed in the spring.

When is the best time to start the process? NOW!

Q: What kind of warranties do you offer on your pools?

Barefoot Pools warrants the pool shell with a 10 year limited warranty, transferrable to new owners per our contract. Tile, coping, decking, and plaster have a limited warranty of 3 years. Pool equipment is warranted according to each manufacturer’s warranty. Our swimming pool contract contains a full description of all warranties and we will be happy to go over this information with you before signing the contract.

Q: How much does it cost for a typical swimming pool?

There really is no “typical” project in terms of cost. Ultimately the cost is driven by what you want to accomplish and the budget limitations, if any, you want to set.

We like to compare it to the process of buying a new home and all the options that must be considered: location, lot size, number of stories, amenities, square footage, etc. How much does a new home cost?

The cost comes down to matching what you really want to achieve with what you are willing to invest. By deciding what you are willing to invest, you can then focus on the particulars.

Barefoot Pools’s job is to help you quickly identify the budget range required for your ideal project, understand your needs and goals, then begin the process of guiding you through the design phase in such a way that your investment is maximized.
